This is Shala Monroque, jetsetting fashionista and girlfriend of a world-renowned New York gallerist. I'm not sure if she really works, other than as a contributor to her friend Dasha Zhukova's POP magazine, for which she and her man hosted one of NY Fashion Week's most exclusive soirees in honor of Tavi. Regardless, she's gorgeous and fabulous and bounces around the world collecting contemporary art, enviable fashion, and best of all, priceless experiences (see her above in Doha). Her blog for POP is really worth your time.
I welcomed her to a work event once, and she barely said hello -- but she looked dreadfully chic, inappropriately dressed in skintight jeans, sky high heels and a shrunken black leather motorcycle jacket.
Some lives need no dress code.
