The very elegant Chelsea Clinton, with straw hat perched atop her practice-run matrimonial up do', entered Vera Wang's showroom to meet her mother, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, yesterday - upping the estimates that she will wear custom Wang (vs. Oscar de la Renta) for the ceremony this Saturday. Reports also had the Mother of the Bride visiting the showroom of the Clintons' close friend de la Renta yesterday. There are conflicting rumors as to whether Chelsea also attended the Oscar visit.
I originally assumed Chelsea would wear custom Oscar, given the family's closeness with Oscar and Annette, but my current guess is that Chelsea and the bridal party will wear Vera and Hillary will wear Oscar (as she always does).
Either way, it will be a magical wedding for a very special woman. Best wishes, Chelsea!
