My grade school art teacher, Mrs. Applegate, used to refer to a certain shade of bright yellow-green as "toxic waste green" - it always cracked me up, and I've always loved the color. Oscar de la Renta's spring collection was gorgeous and playful, and he showed some fabulous neon looks in what I hope he wouldn't mind me calling toxic waste green.
