Punk fabulous

Chris Bailey wasn't messing around with this spring collection for Burberry. A little trashy, maybe; definitely fabulous. But a little obvious? It's either very wise or a bit tired to follow the wildly coveted, amped-up shearling aviator for fall with a tricked out, punk-glam version of the motorcycle, another iconic jacket. Maybe the It Jacket is a smart, effective new way to draw attention and dollars to a label, season after season. We certainly saw that with Celine and the ubiquitous camel "investment coats."

In any case, these will be about $5,000 and I'm guessing every "it girl" in town will be dying for one (or its Topshop knockoff).
